Bonjour Brilliant was born from a simple but powerful idea

that language can transform the way we see the world and the way we connect with each other.

I grew up in France, surrounded by the rhythm and melody of the French language. After moving to New Zealand over eight years ago, I experienced firsthand what it means to learn to belong in another culture. I had to adapt to a new way of life, new ways of laughing, new ways of loving, new ways of BEING,

all while holding onto the richness of my French roots.

Learning to navigate between two cultures taught me that speaking another language is not just about mastering grammar or pronunciation, it’s about understanding people. It’s about listening, laughing at our own mistakes, and finding joy in moments of connection.

That’s why I created Bonjour Brilliant,

to help francophiles and language lovers experience French as more than a subject to study, but as a living, breathing culture to feel, speak, and celebrate.

My goal is to make learning French an empowering, practical, and deeply human journey, one that helps you express yourself with confidence and connect authentically with others.
